An Open Letter To The Prime Minister

To the right Honourable Tony Abbott, Prime Minister of Australia.

Sir, I implore you on behalf of a great many Australians to do one thing, to make one simple gesture, and that is, stop, stop attempting to ingratiate yourself with those on the political left, stop trying to bring the other side along with you.

With all due respect, Mr Prime Minister, you need to stop trying trying to accomplish the impossible, the loathing of Tony Abbott among those on the political left will never be over-come. I repeat, the loathing of Tony Abbott among those on the political left will never be over-come.

Mr Prime Minister you must understand that you are alone against the institutions those on the political left built, you stand alone against two political left media empires in the Fairfax Press and the ABC, you stand alone against the tide of social media which has now become the echo-chamber of the political left and their media. Mr Prime Minister you stand alone against the political left public institutions such as the HRC, you stand alone against the education institutions which for decades have been the furnace from which the modern political left was smelt. Mr Prime Minister you stand alone against the public institutions and the political forces that manipulate them such as the union propaganda arm called GetUp! Mr Prime Minister you stand alone against a well crafted and concerted campaign to not only see your own downfall but the downfall of the very ideals you believe in.

Mr Prime Minister it must now be obvious to you that there is no prospect of reaching across the political divide, there is no chance for you or your government’s policies to receive fair hearing, it must be obvious to you that there can be no reasoning with those who have let their emotive ideology over-come their abilities to be rational.

Mr Prime Minister what is at stake here is much larger than your re-election, or the fate of your party, what is at stake here is the fate of those who elected you.

As it will be the people who will suffer most if once more Australia is governed by those on the political left who hold ideals once considered foreign to the very identity of Australia and Australians. Those who believe absolutely in the creation of the all encompassing welfare state such as those created throughout Europe are now at the helm of the political left in Australia. They will, given the opportunity, bring about a new Australia, one free of liberty, one rife with social division and perpetual class warfare, an Australia where government becomes the arbiter of everything, the provider of everything, the doers of nothing and the consumers of all. One only need look at the failed experiments in Europe to see our future, and Mr Prime Minister it is up to you to stop it from ever happening here.

Mr Prime Minister, I don’t wish the be the harbinger of doom, or the prophet of disaster in the hope that one appears, only, we can already see the disaster unfolding within the European Union, we can see the very high price they have paid for the policies of the political left, the same policies the political left wish to foist upon us here in Australia.

Mr Prime Minister you need to stop, you need to stop providing your enemies with the ammunition that will be used for years to come to ensure that you and your government is the last conservative government we Australians see. You Prime Minister need to take a firm grip on the reigns of your party and ensure that those on the political left are the ones with the spotlight on them.

Mr Prime Minister you need to accept the great divide, and you need to accept that you may not cross it and then prevent that line from crossing you. Mr Prime Minister you need to accept that often silence is golden, that to ignore is the greatest of arguments, that progress can only be made without flexibility of the will.

I as do many others Mr Prime Minister to leave those on the political left to their own devices, refuse to engage or communicate with them, leave their seats vacant at the table, give them nothing to write or speak of you and your party. Instruct your party and those in their employ to no longer engage with the institutions that are out of your reach, instruct them to abandon the ABC, Fairfax, Twitter and the blogosphere and deny it any material, because utterance will be tortured till it meets the aims of the political left at your expense. Some say that they will write and speak about you regardless, and so they will, but to whom? Only those in the same choir, leaving their voices impotent.

Mr Prime Minister I am asking that you embark on a course of action that will finally see those not on the political left finally start taking the fight back to the enemy, by denying them their ammunition we stand a chance of not only getting a Prime Minister who isn’t betrothed to organisations who seek to destroy our nation and who we are as a people, but we stand a chance of undoing some of the damage already done.

Mr Prime Minister I am asking you to stand for those of us who not only support you and your party, but for those who have the most to lose if you and your party are consigned to defeat in the future. And the first step is to stop giving our common enemy ammunition, I am asking you to not only join but to lead a boycott of the media and institutions that have become a part of the political left machine, starting with the ABC.

I think you for your time Mr Prime Minister,

Sincerely,

RC
